Is Carrie Underwood Divorcing Husband Mike Fisher?

Is Carrie Underwood divorcing husband Mike Fisher? Throughout Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher’s marriage, the power couple has weathered many storms. From infidelity rumors to Mike’s struggles, the pair has always managed to come out on top. However, according to a few tabloids such as Suggest, OK!, and Entertainment Times, there is trouble brewing in paradise, with some suggesting they might be heading for divorce. While these reports are purely speculative, it’s worth noting that the couple has been facing more challenges than usual lately.

Is Carrie Underwood Divorcing Husband Mike Fisher?

The couple tied the knot in July 2010 after the Canadian hockey player popped the question in December 2009. Five years into their marriage, the pair welcomed their first son, Isaiah. After that, the couple didn’t have much trouble setting their sights on expanding their family even more.

Unfortunately, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher’s marriage has been under much strain lately. On April 25, 2022, OK! magazine reported that a source had shared that the couple’s marriage was “plagued with jealousy.” The source also said that Carrie often put on a happy show for the cameras, even when things were happening behind the scenes that weren’t so happy. The source added that some of the couple’s problems were exposed during a chaotic date night.

“Everyone was praising and fawning over Carrie at the CMT’s (Country Music Television event), and Mike couldn’t get a word in edgewise. He felt like a spare part, and it got to him,” said the source. The source indicated that Underwood’s career was taking off, but it had a negative impact on her marriage. According to the source, “Mike has seen even less of Carrie. He goes crazy thinking about all the guys she’s closely working with, like Jason [Aldean].”

In addition, a source told that the couple had a significant disagreement during the COVID lockdown. This claim is congruent with a report published in September 2020 by the National Enquirer (via Suggest).  It was reported that Underwood’s nitpicking habit affected her marriage to Fisher, leading to disagreements on raising their kids.

Carrie Underwood’s Las Vegas Residency Also Causing Problems

Underwood’s Las Vegas residency appears to be taking up much of her time, another issue plaguing the marriage. Fisher was concerned that Underwood’s shows might separate them, according to an Entertainment Times article from July 3, 2022.

The outlet claims that a source told the National Enquirer that Fisher was unhappy with Underwood spending most evenings away from home, leaving him with their kids. “They’ve learned the hard way that they can’t take the chance of forsaking their marriage even for a day. The source claimed that Mike was afraid about her returning on the road because of this.

Fisher declined offers to host the NFL because he did not want to be away from his wife and children, the source added. He reportedly expressed disbelief upon learning that Underwood had accepted the invitation to play in Las Vegas. The pair has never publicly disclosed their marital issues up to this point, and only time will tell if they are actually on the verge of divorce.
